I’ve known Rosary for a long time now, being she is my best friend’s younger sister. And now she’s getting married! I’m happy she’s found such an amazing guy to spend her life with. They’re both pretty level-headed and responsible with their choices but they also have their moments of crazy and fun and that balance works for them really well. These two were really meant for each other.

Rosary: I love you so much and have enjoyed watching you grow to be the amazing woman you are. You and Felix fit perfectly together and it doesn’t hurt that he’s a 49ers fan.
I wish you both all the love and joy in the world and can’t wait to see what craziness comes from you guys in the years to come!![]()

Ceremonial toast speech
Life is wonderful . . . Thanks be to God
Good evening everyone, on behalf of the Marcelo and Li Family, can I say how delighted we are to welcome friends and relatives, of both families, most specially to those who have travelled quite a distance to witness and celebrate the marriage of a wonderful couple.
Today is, of course, a celebration, not just of the love that has united Ryan and Ann in marriage, but also of the families that have created, moulded and influenced their lives. In recent years we’ve had a chance to get to know pareng Romy and mareng Dolor and their family, and it’s now clear just why Ann is such a wonderful daughter. She, like many of us, is blessed with giving and nourishing parents. My compliments and thanks to pareng Romy and mareng Dolor for raising such a wonderful lady as Ann.
Let us now honor the bride and groom. Over the past 30 years I’ve had the privilege of watching Felix Ryan grow from a gorgeous baby boy to an independent, firm-of-purpose teenager and on into a well principled respected person in the community, Well done Ryan, I’m so proud of you.
Now it’s customary on these occasions to offer the happy couple some worldly advice on marriage, and this is the one time where they have to hear me out.
Ryan my son, your giving spirit and your love have earned you a most special gift, your bride Rosary Ann. Cherish her.
Ann, you are indeed a gift from heaven and we welcome you into our family with all our hearts, and we rejoice in Ryan’s good fortune that he found you, and you him.
May I now invite everyone to raise your glasses for a toast to our lovely couple.
From all of us, may you have a wonderful and memorable honeymoon, long life loving together.
God Bless You and Your Marriage.
Love Dad
