And we’re back! After a long hiatus, the Love List is back. And since your Friday is precious time, let’s get started.
- I’ll be attending a house warming soon and have been looking for a gift for the new home owners. Found it with this doormat sold at Generate. The script is fantastic. The upside down message even better. They’ll get a kick out of it.
- I love these dishes. They are lovely. Scalloped and lovely. Find them and other fantastic designs at Coe & Waito.
- Who’s a fan of Lotta Bruhn? I am. I love her work. I love the colors she uses. I dream to illustrate like her. One day, maybe, but until then I’ve downloaded her free Animal Stickers. Anything from her is awesome.
- If you own an iPhone, you absolutely must download Rolando, the newest iPhone game released from ngmoco. It. Is. FUN. I’m not much of a gamer, but Rolando has captured my attention and has taken up more hours than I’d like to admit. If you’re into amazingly designed games that are super addictive to play, Rolando is the one for you.
- These days I can’t seem to remember what I’m doing from one minute to the next. Upon recommendation of a friend, I signed up for the online web app Remember the Milk and I haven’t forgotten a thing since. It’s a highly rated task manager application, super slick in design, and just plain easy to use. The list-maker in me is happy.
- So I saw the Twilight movie. Not once, but twice. Yeah, don’t ask me why. The movie didn’t get any better the second time around. They should have shown this version instead. [Warning: The link contains spoilers to the movie. Go ahead and watch it anyway. You'll save yourself the cost of a movie ticket.]
FRIDAY FREEBIE
And here’s a goodie for this first Friday of the year. I’ve gotten quite a few adorable emails re: my New Year’s resolution. No one seems to believe I can actually pull it off. I suppose it depends on how you’re defining “good.” There’s a surprising number of you who seem to think my being good means I’ll refrain from being … well, naughty. LOL.
So to help keep my resolve, I’ve designed this wallpaper to use as my computer’s desktop picture. It’s just what I need to keep me at it. And if you want this for yourself, you can grab the file for free here. Come join me and resolve to “Be Good” this 2009.
Ciao, bellas!
