The value of the ‘SAVE’ key.
by mariagrace
After yesterday’s debacle, I’ve learned the lesson and will continually press SAVE for every other sentence. Never do I want to re-write another post again. You’d think I would have learned this already. But that Grace, so hard-headed, LOL.
SCRAP FOR A CURE
I am very happy to announce that I am this month’s guest designer for the Scrap for a Cure kit club. Proceeds of the sale of their kits go to charities close to their heart. This month’s kit is helping the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. This hits home for me because my family has a strong history of diabetes. So I am very honored to design on behalf of such a worthy cause.
And did I mention before how I got along so well with the girls of the club? I met them at this past CHA and, oh my gosh, they’re flippin’ fantastic! They’re passionate about this hobby and their cause and I’m so happy to know them.
Here’s a photo of me with them at the TwoPeas social. And one of the layouts I created for the month.

ONLY 4 MONTHS
Until I turn 30 and there are still so many things I want to accomplish before the day arrives. I’ve had trouble sleeping because of it. You know how you can stay awake at night because you have lists in your head? It seems to me my list is never-ending and this bothers me in a real way. I have so many things on my Before I Turn 30 list still yet to achieve. I haven’t yet learned how to drive stick shift. I haven’t even tried rock climbing. There’s a painting in my room that’s unfinished. And instead of shrinking in size, I’ve grown.
Priorities. I need to prioritize.
And I found this photo of me the other day, taken by my friend Gina. I think I was 27 in this photo. I want to look like this again. I want to be this unconditionally happy.
ART THERAPY
Are you doing Rhonna’s 21 Day Challenge that’s hosted on TwoPeas? I am and it’s been a good release for me. I’ll post my work-to-date (hopefully) by tomorrow. And this is good practice for the The Sketchbook Project I signed up for. I’m all about sketchbooks these days.
Happy Thursday, all. Until tomorrow!

What people are saying...
Doesn’t Wordpress automatically save your posts? You might want to double check your drafts.
It was good seeing you last night.
love this post.
love that scrapbook layout.
and you are gorgeous!
just let me say that i wish i was 30.
LOL!
i’m past it.
yikes.
i’m still thinking about what i want to accomplish before my next birthday.
so many things, but i’m trying to be realistic.
I’m gonna do the challenge!!
I decided to take photos everyday of everyday life, and scrap each day about that photo… resulting in a 21-page album of my everyday happenings.
Thanks for the inspiration, as usual! I’ll post when I’m done, and can’t wait to see yours!
I am so in love with your love lists.
I turn 30 in 3 weeks and there’s a ton of stuff I would of love to accomplish before then but I’m going to be postive and think….why can’t I just accomplish them at 30? Maybe I’ll have a better perspective on these things too. I dreaded this age all year but the closer I get, the better I feel.
TGIF!
