Emily, RAKs, and You

EMILY IN BERKELEY
Yesterday I spent the day hanging out with Emily & family in Berkeley. Such a great time. I always love hanging out with my Em. It’s always good spending time with her.

So I toured Em, Ivy, and Baby Yindi around Berkeley, first to the Cal Berkeley campus, then shopped along 4th St & Frontage Road, and finally stopped by Scrapbook Territory and met up with my friend Lisa. Headed back to her hotel and just chilled before meeting up with her hubby Mick (such a hottie, seriously) and to Bay Street for dinner. Talk about a full day. Full and fun and such a sweet time all around.

Em’s so special to me. It’s such a funny thing. Our friendship started via emails and grew from there. It’s always funny starting relationships from email – such a new millennium kind of thing – and I didn’t know how she’d respond. But from the first reply, I could tell this gal had a kind soul. I’m always looking for fellow kind souls. They make the best kind of friends.
